Partnership for Progress Summit that brings together the CEOs

The Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair 2004 will be held between
September 1-5 at the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre.
This annual trade fair hopes to better its last year’s figures
of 730 exhibitors and 15,317 buyers that covered a total area
of 29,087 sq.m. With exhibitors displaying timepieces in categories
from the Brand Name Gallery (Brand Name Watches & Clocks),
Machinery Packaging Parts & Components, Complete Watches &
Clocks and Trade Services & Publications it is one of the
most comprehensive fairs in the Far East. In addition, the
attractions of the opening ceremony, cocktail reception and
Asian watch industry conference-makes it a fair you don’t
want to miss!

Bovet
August sees India welcome Bovet watches. Having been around
since 1822, Bovet’s unique style was perfected in the 19th
century with their collection of enamelled pocket-watches
for the Chinese elite. 2004 sees them join hands with distributors
RPA Distributors Pvt. Ltd. and launch two of their distinctive
watches in India the complicated dress watch series Fleurier
and the chronograph Sporster. The Fleurier 28mm has a white
gold domed dial with a fine coloured enamel base. Available
in 10 different shades, the commissioned pieces will be fitted
with Bovet’s prestige self-winding, haute-horlogerie movement.
Bvlgari
"grandes complications"
Having recently acquired Daniel Roth and Gerald Genta Haute,
Bvlgari now presents the new Bvlgari-Bvlgari line and the
first “Grandes Complications” timepiece entirely conceived
and produced by the group. The line includes the Tourbillion
watch with a sapphire back case in yellow gold. The highly
complicated movement has a crocodile leather strap and is
a limited edition of 25 pieces only. Other inclusions are
the B.zero1 range featuring coloured straps and a bezel adorned
with semi-precious stones.
