Why did you choose to
represent Omega over all the other brands?
I love Omega because it is dependable and I like the values that Omega stands for. Omega respects time and is also elegant.

Omega is linked with the James Bond movies through its masterpieces such as Speed Master and Sea Master. So, if you were involved as a secret agent in a spy movie, what kind of gadget would you like to have on your watch?
Actually, I have never though about it. But it is an interesting thought and hopefully, I will think and get involved.

Amitabh bachchan is known as collector of watches. have you inherited your father’s passion?
Yes. I love watches. They make style statements. If a watch is stylish and gives me good time, then, that’s it.

Are you involved in the design aspect of omega watches?
Not at present.

Amongst all the watches on offer, which one is your favourite?
Omega Constellation.

How do you choose a watch? is It the design or technical aspects such as complications?
More for design and style, I’d say.

What made you choose Abhishek Bachchan as your Brand Ambassador?
I have to say Omega has to find the best. We waited. There are two interest areas in India. One is sports within which it is cricket and the other is the film industry. Within the film industry, Abhishek has fantastic personality. Additionally he is likeable, friendly and above all, is educated in Switzerland. In a matter of one hour, he is more like Omega than I, as a President, am!

What are the qualities that Omega looks for in appointing its Brand Ambassadors?
Largely, we look for credentials and people who fit in with Omega’s culture. Such achievers have to be friendly. Credibility is important and we go by our experience. It is not the question of money. We look for right values in an individual...
