ANITA SETH does a celebrity round-up to ask some lovely ladies what they are (not so) secretly
hoping for this Valentine’s Day. ..

With February being grandly flourished as Cupid’s favourite month the key word for gifting moves from `price` to `priceless`, as in any capacity, it is used to showcase the deepest human emotion - love. And men being...ahem, men even with the right intent get lost in the wrong direction more often than not! So we’ve done the dirty work for some of you and asked some well-known faces what they’d like for V-day. The rest can pick cues and follow suit.

Adhuna Akhtar
Hair Stylist

“I am very fond of diamonds personally and what better occasion than Valentine’s! If my husband had to gift me a piece of jewellery, I would definitely want him to go for a pair of diamond earrings.”

Aditi Gowitrikar-Lakdawala
Model

“With my kind of a personality, I don’t like jewellery that is loud and flashy. A pair of solitaire earrings would be good enough to charm me this Valentine.”

Shaina NC
Fashion Designer

“For a special day like Valentine’s, I think a pair of heart shaped solitaire earrings would be a great gift from my husband. The price is guaranteed to keep him ticking for some time though!”

Mandira Bedi
Actress

“My pick of jewellery is very different from my husband’s choice. I am absolutely passionate about pure silver and recall my childhood days when I used to buy silver from Silver House at Colaba whenever I had my savings in place. For Valentine’s, I would like my husband to gift me a semi-precious stone jewellery set with smokey topaz and silver.”
